The Learn360 Bandwidth Manager helps conserve your schoolís Internet bandwidth by allowing you to schedule off peak video downloads to a local server inside your network. Administratorís now have the ability to restrict streaming and/or downloading of Learn360 video content during school hours at any location within your hierarchy.
If a blackout period is active, teachers will not have the option to stream and/or download any videos. Teachers can request videos to be downloaded by adding them to the schoolís download queue while in a blackout period. Once the blackout period expires for a given day, all videos contained in the download queue will automatically be downloaded to your local server. Once Learn360 video content has been downloaded to your local server, it is no longer subject to any blackout periods. Teachers can stream and/or download these videos without any restrictions.
